Update - Mileage

I have updated the Mileage calculator app. After a comment from a user, I added what I think is how they do things in the UK.

TipCalc app published!

I finally got around to releasing another app. This one is a simple tip calculator. You simply type in the amount of the bill, choose what tip percent you want, then click the "Calculate" button and the tip and the final total are displayed. I plan on adding many more features which are listed in the description. Enjoy!

MPG update is out!

Just released a very minor update to my Mileage project. All I did was add a way to toggle between miles per gallon (mpg) and kilometers per liter (kpl). After a little research, I learned that Europeans calculate mileage slightly different and I will try to incorporate that next time.

You can find it here:

Update coming

As soon as I get back from vacation, I'm going to try to release at least a small update for the MPG app. It all depends on what I can get working. I've been having trouble with the Android emulator and I changed computers so bugs are showing up from switching everything.

Update

I'm working on fixing a problem that arises when using the MPG app in landscape mode. When I first made it, I did not know how to make the screen scrollable, but I have since learned and will update it soon. This will only be a minor update and I'm trying to work on a major one soon.

I want to be able to create different car "profiles" so you can keep track of the average MPG of several cars, but I still haven't figured out saving data.

App in progress - Golf scorecard

Currently, I'm trying to design a golf scorecard app. I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to set it up so the user can choose how many players they are with and how many holes they are playing.

I was trying to set it up so that when you tapped the start button, it would change the layout of the page. This basically works, but I have no simple way of using the back button and the forums I'm reading say that it makes more sense to create a new Activity for each screen. I really need to find someone to help me through these lower-level concepts.

Anyway, just thinking out loud...

I'm thinking about getting someone to design an icon for this app instead of using something I found online.

It feels like there is a lot to do for what should be a simple app.

First app

Just released my first app. It's only a little calculator to determine your car's MPG. For now, that is all it does. Yes, I know you can do the same thing with your phone's calculator, but I'm just making stuff that I want.

My plans for this app include saving the mileage every time you enter it and displaying the average at the bottom of the screen. Also, maybe keeping track of several cars at once.
